Toronto, GTA + surrounding areas
Toronto families have taught us what support actually has to work around.
We’ve supported families across Toronto and the GTA for our entire postpartum careers, and one thing is very clear: having people nearby does not always mean having help you can actually use.
Some families are new to the city. Some have relatives across the GTA, but “nearby” still means 45 minutes away on a good day and absolutely not popping over for a 2 a.m. feed. Some have friends close by, but those friends are working, parenting, commuting or simply not in the same stage of life.
Toronto can make support feel strangely complicated.
Condo living can mean shared elevators, no spare room, limited storage, visitor parking drama and baby supplies tucked into every available corner. Larger homes come with their own chaos: more rooms, more laundry, more schedules, more people to coordinate and somehow still never enough clean bottles when you need one.
What we see most often is not a lack of love.
It’s a lack of practical, well-timed, easy-to-use support.
That’s where Cradira fits. We help with your baby and the household systems around that care, so support doesn’t depend on one exhausted person remembering, explaining and assigning everything.

Toronto families often have people who care. What they need is support that can actually be used.
Two kinds of support. Two different kinds of rest.

Overnight support gives you a night where rest is actually protected.
We care for your baby overnight so you can step out of the constant listen-wake-check-repeat cycle and start the next day with more capacity.
Support helps even when nothing is technically “wrong.”
Postpartum support is not only for crisis moments. It’s for the ordinary moments that get hard because everyone is tired, everything is new and the household still has to function. Rude of the laundry, honestly.

Care that works in your actual space
Condo, townhouse, apartment or full family home, we work with the setup you have. No matching bins, spare nursery or Pinterest-level bottle station required.

Someone who can see the pressure points
We notice the small things making the day harder: the bottle setup, the laundry loop, the hand-off gaps, the supplies no one can find at 3 a.m.

Rest that fits your life, not an imaginary schedule
Work calls, school pickups, elevator waits, feeding plans and older kids all matter. Support should fit the life you’re living, not the one the baby book assumed.

Systems that make help easier to use
We help make routines, preferences and next steps clearer so partners, relatives and other support people can step in without needing one exhausted parent to direct the whole production.
Support that fits Toronto homes and Toronto schedules.
Support that fits Toronto homes and Toronto schedules.
For some Toronto families, the challenge is a small space, shared elevators, delivery timing, parking and keeping baby supplies organized without a basement full of storage.
For others, it’s a larger household with older children, visitors, meals, work calls, school pickups and the invisible list of things that still need to happen even though a whole new human just arrived.
We don’t expect you to have everything figured out before we arrive. We help with the baby, the handoffs and the practical pieces around care so your home feels less like a pile of urgent tasks and more like a place where people can recover.
Tell us what life actually looks like.
Share your location, baby’s age or due date, your building or home setup, and what part of the day or night is most intimidating.
We look at the real-life logistics.
We’ll talk through timing, travel, parking, elevators, feeding, sleep, work schedules, older kids and what kind of support would actually be useful.
We build from what would give you relief first.
That might be overnight care, daytime support, virtual planning or a smaller starting point before committing to anything bigger.
No pressure. No perfect plan required. We start with the part that feels hardest right now.

In-home postpartum support in Toronto starts at $48/hour.
Pricing depends on booking length, schedule, location and your family’s needs. Package rates may be available for ongoing support for one baby. Shorter bookings and support for twins are priced separately.
We’ll confirm your exact rate before you book. No surprise math at the end of the shift.

We support families across Toronto and nearby areas.
Not sure whether you’re in range? Ask us. Toronto travel is its own personality, so availability can depend on your location, timing and the type of support you need.
If we can’t support you directly, we may still be able to point you toward someone who can.
You may not need someone in your home to need support.
Sometimes you need another pair of hands. Sometimes you need to talk through what isn’t working, get everyone on the same page or find one sensible place to begin.
Cradira has options for those situations too.

Quick answers
Do you offer postpartum support in Toronto?
Yes. Cradira offers in-home postpartum support across Toronto and nearby areas, including daytime and overnight newborn care.
Can I book support before my baby is born?
Yes. Many families reach out while they’re still expecting so support is easier to arrange before baby arrives, especially for overnight care or regular weekly support.
We do our best to help families who contact us after baby arrives too, but availability can be more limited once you’re already in the thick of it. If you know you may want support, it’s worth reaching out early so we can talk through timing, options, and what would actually help.
What does postpartum support include?
Support can include newborn care, feeding support, settling, overnight care, daytime rest support, baby-related laundry, bottles, light tidying, handovers and practical guidance for the day-to-day parts of postpartum.
Do you support families in condos?
Yes. We support families in condos, townhouses, apartments and houses across Toronto. We’re used to working around elevators, limited storage, shared spaces, visitor parking and the realities of city living.
What if parking, elevators or building access are complicated?
Very normal for Toronto. We’ll talk through access, parking, concierge instructions, elevators and timing before the first shift so support feels easier when we arrive.
Do you only support first-time parents?
No. We support first-time parents, experienced parents, families with older children, twins, solo parents, two-parent families and families with different kinds of support systems.
What if I’m not sure whether I need daytime or overnight support?
That’s completely fine. We can talk through what your days and nights look like, what kind of rest you’re missing and which type of support is likely to help most.

You do not have to hold it all in your head.
Let’s build support around your baby, your home and the way your life actually works in Toronto.
