Brampton is part of our story
Brampton isn’t simply a place on Cradira’s service map. I moved to Brampton while pregnant in 1999. It was my first home away from my childhood home, and the place where I became an adult and a parent, more or less at the same time. My child started school here, played in the parks and made some of their first friends here.
I had family who loved us and stayed involved, but most lived 45 minutes to an hour away. I learned that people can want to be there and still not have the freedom to show up when things get hard. I also learned that you can love your child completely, keep trying and still wonder whether you’re failing. Most parents have felt that. We just don’t talk about it very much.
Brampton is also where I began my training and first worked as a postpartum doula. After years away, I came home. Supporting families here now feels a little full-circle. I get to offer the kind of steady, practical support I know can make the beginning feel less lonely and more manageable.

The people who love you can want to be there and still not be able to show up when things get hard.
What would make the next 24 hours easier?
Some families need help getting through the day. Some need someone else to be on call overnight. Some use a little of both.
You don’t need to choose the hardest possible version of postpartum to prove you can do it.

A night where you are not the one on call.
We follow your family’s feeding plan and take care of the feeds, changes and settling we can handle so you can step out of the constant listen-wake-check-repeat cycle.
The shift should make life easier after we leave, too.
Of course we can hold the baby and wash the bottles. But if every answer still lives in one exhausted person’s head, everything becomes difficult again the moment the shift ends.
We pay attention to what keeps getting missed, repeated or unnecessarily complicated. Then we help make it easier the next time.

Someone experienced is paying attention.
Your baby receives calm, responsive care from someone who understands newborn behaviour, feeding, settling and how unpredictable the early weeks can be.

Important details stop living in one person’s head.
We help keep feeding information, routines, preferences and useful observations clear enough for partners and support people to follow.

You don’t have to explain everything twice.
Clear updates and handovers mean the next person can pick up where we left off without an exhausted parent directing every step.

Small fixes keep helping.
Sometimes moving the bottles, changing a routine or writing down the plan removes the same irritation from every feed, shift or handover that follows.
You don’t need to know exactly what to book.
You can come to us with a detailed schedule. You can also come to us with, “We’re tired, this isn’t working and I don’t know what we need.”
Both are completely acceptable starting points.
Tell us what’s going on.
Share your location, due date or baby’s age, and what has been feeling difficult. You don’t need to have the hours, schedule or solution figured out.
We talk it through.
We ask about your baby, feeding, recovery, sleep, household and the people already supporting you. Then we look at where another pair of hands would make the biggest difference.
We make a plan that fits.
If we’re a good fit and have availability in Brampton, we recommend daytime, overnight or a combination based on what would create useful relief.
No pressure. Nothing is booked until everyone feels comfortable moving forward.

In-home support starts at $48/hour.
Your exact rate depends on the length of the booking, your schedule, location and whether we’re supporting one baby or multiples.
Package pricing may be available for ongoing support with one baby. Shorter bookings and support for twins are priced separately.
We’ll confirm the rate before you book. No surprise math at the end of the shift.

We cannot recommend Angelina enough! ❤️
We had her for three nights with our son, Evander, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was caring, patient, knowledgeable, and professional, giving us so much peace of mind and helping us work toward our sleep goals. Trusting someone with your baby overnight is a big decision, and Angelina made us feel completely comfortable. We are so grateful for her support and would absolutely use her again. Highly recommend her to any family looking for a fantastic night nanny!

Quick answers
Do you provide postpartum support throughout Brampton?
Yes. We provide scheduled daytime and overnight support across Brampton. Availability depends on your location, the schedule you need and the dates you’re looking for.
If you’re unsure whether we come to your area, fill out the contact form with your closest intersection and we’ll get back to you, no obligation.
How much does postpartum support in Brampton cost?
In-home support starts at $48 per hour. The final rate can be affected by booking length, schedule, location and the number of babies.
We’ll explain the pricing before you decide whether to book.
What’s the difference between daytime and overnight support?
Daytime support gives you a block of time to rest, work, attend appointments, care for yourself or spend time with another child while we care for your baby and help with baby-related resets.
Overnight support means someone else is responsible for responding to your baby through the night according to your feeding plan, so you aren’t the person constantly on alert.
Does an overnight provider stay awake for the entire shift?
Overnight support means you are no longer the person on call. We handle feeds, changes, settling and overnight care according to the plan we create together.
If your baby sleeps for a long stretch, your provider may rest too while remaining responsible for the shift and available when your baby needs care. We discuss expectations before the first night so everyone knows how the shift will work.
Can you support chestfeeding overnight?
Yes. We can bring your baby to you for feeds and then take care of burping, changing and settling so you can return to sleep.
We also support pumping, bottle feeding, formula feeding and combination feeding without judgement or agenda.
Can you work with grandparents, relatives or other support people?
Absolutely. The goal isn’t to replace the people who care about you. It’s to make the support around you easier to use.
We can help clarify routines, preferences and important information so partners, grandparents, relatives and friends can step in without one parent supervising the whole thing.
How far in advance should I book?
Earlier is helpful if you want recurring overnight shifts or particular days, but you’re welcome to contact us during pregnancy or after your baby arrives.
If you need help now, ask. Availability changes and we may have an opening.
Is this medical care?
No. Cradira provides non-medical postpartum education, newborn care, practical help and emotional support.
We don’t diagnose or replace medical or mental health care. If something falls outside our scope, we’ll encourage you to contact the appropriate healthcare professional.

What would make this week feel easier?
Tell us what’s happening. You don’t need to know whether the answer is daytime support, overnight care, a virtual conversation or something you can work through at your own pace.
We’ll help you find a realistic next step.
